After graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Woodd began practice in a 24 hour critical care and emergency care facility in Seattle, WA. At this practice she interned with multiple specialists including neurologists, internal medicine specialists, surgeons, critical care specialists and oncologists. She received extensive experience in treating critical patients as well as involved medical and surgical cases.
Dr. Woodd’s training also includes completing an equine internship at Pilchuck Veterinary Hospital in Snohomish, WA. She now enjoys working on horses as well as involved small animal cases at Mt. Spokane Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Woodd was elected President of the Washington State Veterinary Medical Association in 2014, where she addressed issues affecting the profession in WA state. She currently lives with her husband, three daughters and multiple pets in Colbert, WA.
